PAUL Jewell has revealed that skipper David Norris has a “slight chance” of recovering from his ankle injury in time to play this weekend.

Jewell was speaking at this lunchtime’s Portman Road press conference, ahead of this Saturday’s home match against Portsmouth.

Norris has missed Town’s last three games, after twisting his ankle and knee during the early stages of the 1-1 draw at Barnsley.

He is more likely to return at Cardiff the following weekend, but there is just a chance that he might feature against Pompey.

“David has trained with the physio,” said Jewell.

“He’s done some running, and I don’t like to rule out players on a Thursday morning, so he has got a chance, although a slight one.”

But fellow midfielder Colin Healy will miss out, due to a torn muscle in his stomahc, sustained during Tuesday night’s 2-0 defeat at QPR.
