THE ODDS on Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton being the next manager to leave his post have been slashed after he stormed out of a press conference today.

Victor Chandler report that he was backed at 10/1 and they have been forced to cut the price to 4/1. Magilton is now the second favourite to go after Nottingham Forest boss Colin Calderwood.

“We saw a lot of business at 10/1 and we suspected something was up,” said VC spokesman Neal Wilkins.

“The news then filtered through about the press conference and it started to make sense. We took the sensible approach and cut his price to 4/1. Clearly he is feeling the heat.”

Odds on the next Championship manager to leave his post:

Colin Calderwood 5/4

Jim Magilton 4/1

Sean O'Driscoll 11/2

Jan Poortvliet 11/2

Paul Jewell 6/1

Glenn Roeder 6/1

Brendan Rodgers 10/1

Simon Grayson 10/1

Chris Coleman 11/1

Simon Davey 14/1

Brian Laws 14/1

No manager to leave 16/1.
