MIDFIELD dynamo Andy Drury has hailed his team’s performance in tonight’s 1-1 draw at play-off chasing Birmingham City.
Drury played a key role in the centre of the park as Ipswich dominated City from start to finish - but could only claim a point after Jay Emmanuel-Thomas equalised Chris Burke’s opener.
The midfielder said: “I thought we played well tonight and on another day we could have won the game.
“We created a lot of chances and I think that was one of our better performances of the season, probably since the West Ham game in January.
“Overall it was a good performance from everyone. I thought we dominated the game from start to finish and we’re desperately unlucky not to score a few more goals and win the game.”
