IPSWICH TOWN: Reports in the Romania press are linking Ipswich Town with showing interest in 26-year-old striker Andrei Cristea from Dinamo Bucharest.
He is valued at �1.7million and was top scorer in the Romanian league last season with 16 goals. Cristea has won eight full international caps.
Newcastle United are also said to be interested in a confirmed goal scorer that would suit Town manager Roy Keane’s needs – although he knows that he has to get players off his wage bill before he can bring others in.
