IPSWICH Town striker Jordan Rhodes has joined Oxford United on loan for one month.Rhodes, who has been prolific at various youth levels with Town, is expected to go straight into Oxford's squad for Thursday's game against Torquay in the Blue Square Premier.

Town boss Jim Magilton, who started his league career at the Kassam Stadium club, : “Jordan has gone to Oxford to get some experience of first-team football. It's the next step in his development.”
The Oldham-born striker was involved with Town's first-team set-up towards the end of last season, but failed to make the bench.
