JORDAN Rhodes made a goal-scoring debut for Rochdale after joining the League Two club on loan for a month on Friday.
After a 2-2 draw at Rotherham Rochdale manager Keith Hill praised the teenager saying: “We are really encouraged by his performance. Jordan is a sniffer who scores goals - there is no question about that.
“He had two opportunities in the first half, the keeper saved tremendously well from one and he scored the other. He led the line really well with a cleverness that is beyond his age.”
Rhodes's goal just before the break came after a rebound. He was replaced in the 81st minute with his side having a player sent off and conceding a late equaliser.
