MATT Richards has returned to Brighton on loan until the end of the season.

The Blues defender linked up with his Seagulls team-mates for training this morning and will go straight into the side to play Huddersfield on Saturday.

Richards played 19 games for Albion in his first loan spell and they lost just three of those matches so manager Dean Wilkins is delighted to finally get him back.

Wilkins said: “Matt played an important part of our ten game unbeaten run before Christmas. The supporters are well aware of matt and I'm sure they will be equally pleased to see him return.”

Brighton are keen to make the move more permanent but Richards still has 18-months on his current Town contract.
