GARY Roberts has been given permission to speak to Huddersfield Town after the Blues accepted a bid, believed to be around £250,000, for the winger.
Roberts is understood to be travelling up to Yorkshire today to speak with Terriers boss Stan Ternent and if personal terms are agreed, he will undergo a medical and could sign this weekend.
Roberts joined Ipswich from Accrington Stanley, initially on loan, and then for a deal worth around £220,000. Town boss Jim Magilton listed Roberts at the end of last season but insisted they at least got their money back.
