SHANE O’Connor announced his return from injury by scoring in Ipswich Town Reserves’ 4-3 win at Millwall in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
O’Connor, back to fitness after a five-week absence with a hamstring injury, which he sustained while training with Republic of Ireland Under-21s, will be hoping to be back in contention for Town’s next first team game, at home to Coventry on Saturday week.
Ronan Murray, Reggie Lambe and Jamie Griffiths were also on target for Town, while Damien Delaney and Luciano Civelli both featured on their comeback from injuries.
