Skipper expected to make trip to Sheffield

IPSWICH TOWN: The Blues are expected to field an unchanged team when they look to make it three wins on the trot against Sheffield United in the Championship at Bramall Lane (kick-off 3pm).

Skipper David Norris left the field early last weekend in the 2-0 success against Millwall and was limping when he left the ground.

But he could put weight on the leg and is expected to form a central midfield partnership with Grant Leadbitter.

Town manager Roy Keane is expected to retain a 4-4-2 formation, which would see Tamas Priskin and Jason Scotland start up front and the only likely change could be Andros Townsend or Jake Livermore for Jack Colback in midfield.

Carlos Edwards is playing his best football since arriving at Portman Road, while the back four should pick itself after a notable clean sheet against Millwall.

Tom Eastman has done well at right back with Tommy Smith now looking more assured at left back and is set to keep the fit-again Mark Kennedy on the bench.

Damien Delaney has got back to the form he showed for much of last season while Gareth McAuley will be making his 100th Ipswich appearance looking as assured as ever. If Jamie Peters features he will also be making it a century of Town appearances.
