Smith signs new Town contract

TEENAGE defender Tommy Smith has signed an extension to his Ipswich Town contract.

TEENAGE defender Tommy Smith has signed an extension to his Ipswich Town contract.

Previously contracted to the club until the summer of 2010, Smith's new contract takes him to 2012.

The 18-year-old is currently recovering from a broken ankle and made his first team debut on the opening day of this season.
