IPSWICH Town have lined up a pre-season friendly against a Tottenham XI.
Town will entertain the Londoners at Portman Road on Tuesday, August 3 (kick-off 7.45pm), just four days before Roy Keane’s men kick off their campaign with a trip to Middlesbrough.
It will be Town’s last run-out before their Championship opener, and Spurs are expected to field a mixture of first teamers and those pushing for first team football.
The previous weekend, Town are at home to West Ham in a strong-looking pre-season friendly at Portman Road.
