JON Stead has agreed terms to sign on loan to Coventry City.
Ipswich Town's joint leading scorer was at Coventry's Ricoh Arena to discuss the finer points of his planned loan move this afternoon.
Town boss Roy Keane was willing to allow Stead to join the rival Championship club on loan for the rest of the season, with the possibility of making the deal permanent in the summer.
And that deal loan move will be rubber-stamped tomorrow, meaning that Stead will be available to play for the Sky Blues against Newcastle United on Wednesday.
