Stead to have full medical today

Jim Magilton made his seventh summer signing when he secured Jon Stead on a loan deal until January. Stead travelled to Ipswich last night and was expected to have a full medical today when the deal will be rubber-stamped.

Stead travelled to Ipswich last night and was expected to have a full medical today when the deal will be rubber-stamped.
The Blues have agreed an offer, believed to be in the region of £1.25m, with Sheffield United to make the move permanent in the new-year.
Stead trained with his United team-mates in Sheffield yesterday and only agreed the deal at lunch-time.
