TEENAGE Norwegian goalkeeper Michael Crowe may make his first appearance in an Ipswich Town shirt tonight, according to the club.
The youngster, who is set to join the club’s academy, has been named in the squad which travels to non-league side AFC Sudbury tonight for a pre-season friendly (7.45pm).
Arran Lee-Barrett – who has fallen behind new signing Scott Loach in the pecking order – is also included in the squad, though the club’s official website says that Crowe ‘may get his first appearance’.
Lee-Barrett – who travelled, but did not feature in last night’s 2-1 defeat at league Two side Southend United – this morning cryptically tweeted: “Some phone calls are worth making, they can change the way you feel & confirm what you already knew. #IfCarlsbergDidPhoneCallsIdBePis....”
Teenage triallist Cheick Kourouma is also named in tonight’s squad, as are Byron Lawrence, Jack Ainsley and Jaime Peters.
