IPSWICH Town’s new signing, Nathan Ellington, believes that manager Paul Jewell brings out the best in him.
Ellington has today linked up for a third time with Jewell, following previous spells with Wigan and Derby.
“I’m very happy to be joining Paul Jewell again,” enthused Ellington.
“He’s excited by the job he has here at Ipswich, and what lies in store for the club.
“He sold me on that and I am very happy to be joining a big club like Ipswich.
“When you play for a club you have to have a manager who believes in you, and I think he has believed in me the most throughout my career.
“That’s produced good football from me, winning matches for him. Thats a recipe for success,” added Ellington.
Ellington has signed a two-year contract at Town, having been released by Watford at the end of last season.
The 29-year-old scored twice during a loan spell at Preston last season, and previously played for Bristol Rovers, Wigan, West Brom (3m move), Watford (3.25m fee) and Derby (loan spell).
