IPSWICH Town are believed to have agreed a 250,000 fee to sell midfielder Owen Garvan to fellow Championship side Crystal Palace.
Sources in the London area report that Garvan is in the process of discussing personal terms with the Selhurst Park-based club that is managed by former Blues boss George Burley.
Garvan is one of the eight players that Town manager Roy Keane has made available for transfer, and Burley has already confirmed his interest in signing the 22-year-old former Republic of Ireland Under-21 captain.
Garvan has spent his whole professional career at Portman Road having joined Town straight from school and after making his debut as a 17-year-old he was a first team regular for the next three seasons.
Keane gave Garvan the opportunity to go out on loan last season that Garvan declined, and the lad from Dublin may need some persuading to move on – as opposed to seeing out his contract with Ipswich.
