IPSWICH Town’s npower Championship clash with Doncaster Rovers tomorrow has been called off because of a frozen pitch.
The Keepmoat Stadium pitch was inspected at 10.30am this morning and the decision was an easy one to make, with the ground solid.
It’s the second match of the holiday period both sides have lost. Ipswich now look ahead to Saturday as they travel to Aidy Boothroyd’s Coventry City.
On Monday, Town entertain Nottingham Forest at Portman Road.
With the forecast for slightly milder air in the coming days, both games have a good chance of going ahead.
