IPSWICH Town have been linked with a move for Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard.
Town boss Paul Jewell confirmed this lunchtime that he had made “bids for two players,” and one of these two target could be the experienced Bullard.
Jewell and Bullard worked well together at Wigan Athletic, when former Latics boss Jewell recruited the now 32-year-old from Peterborough in 2003.
Bullard has had his injury concerns, since his switch to Hull two years ago, and was expected to leave the Tigers last summer. It is now believed that Jewell will hold talks with Town later this week.
