IPSWICH Town will today fly out to the Netherlands for the start of their pre-season tour.
The Blues will play FC Eindhoven on Tuesday afternoon before meeting Den Bosch on Thursday evening.
A strong squad of 30 staff and players will make the trip with new signings Michael Chopra, Nathan Ellington, Ivar Ingimarsson and Aaron Cresswell all expected to make their debut at some point.
And Jewell has already made the point of the pre-season tour clear with the squad training every day except Tuesday – including before Thursday’s night match.
The Town boss said: “The players are in no doubt what we expect from them. That is 100 per cent effort at all times. That’s not just the players, that’s the staff as well.”
