JIM Magilton will send a strong side to Ridgeons Premier League side Tiptree United tonight as part of the agreement for the friendly match.

The Blues agreed to play the game after an administrative error meant the Jam-makers were kicked out of two cup competitions last season following the use the two ineligible players.

Many of the Ipswich first team players that only featured in the latter stages of last night's game at Gillingham as well as those looking to force there way back into Magilton's thoughts, will be involved.

Town's longest serving player Richard Naylor is expected to start, while Dean Bowditch and Billy Clarke will be looking to impress.

Magilton may spring a surprise with a trialist or two, although new signing Kevin Lisbie will not play as he is still working with fitness coach Simon Thadani.

Lisbie may be involved on Saturday when the Blues take on Premier League new boys West Brom, if not next Tuesday at League One side Brighton.

Nor will Honduran international Emilio Izaguirre who can't play due to red tape.

They then take on West Ham and Town old boy Kieron Dyer is hoping to be involved for the Hammers after a lengthy injury.

Tonight it is not a ticket-only match and you will be able to pay on the day, £10 adults and £5 concessions.
