The 26-year-old striker, who has commanded fees totalling more than £10million in his career, goes straight into the squad for the Blues' crunch game against QPR tomorrow.
Town boss Jim Magilton has spoken of his delight at signing the ex-Everton, Arsenal and Charlton striker, describing it as a “real coup”.
