IPSWICH Town today announced they had officially signed David Norris from Plymouth in deal that should keep him at the club until the summer of 2011.
The 26-year-old midfielder, who joins the club for an undisclosed fee, started his career at Bolton, where he was a team-mate of Jon Walters.
Norris didn't make a league appearance for Wanderers in his three years there and after a six-game loan stay at Hull, he moved on to Plymouth in December 2002 following an initial loan spell at Home Park.
The Stamford-born player made 235 appearances for the Pilgrims, scoring 27 goals and became a favourite with the Plymouth fans in that time.
