ALAN Lee could complete his move to Crystal Palace today after talks with Eagles boss Neil Warnock.

Crystal Palace had a bid of around £600,000, which could rise to almost£900,000 with add-ons, accepted by Ipswich, and even though Huddersfield and Preston have made similar offers, Selhurst Park seems the most likely destination for Lee if he agrees to leave Portman Road.

Personal terms are a sticky issue with Lee on a basic of around £7,000-a-week with £2,000 appearance fee and another £2,000 per goal incentives. The 30-year-old is also reluctant to leave his Dedham home so would need to commute or buy a flat in south London.

Warnock has a couple of other strikers he can also turn to if chairman Simon Jordan won't meet Lee's wage demands, although he is in his last year on his contract with Town.

Magilton has made it clear he sees Lee as past it at Portman Road and has stepped up his search for a replacement.
