Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton will be relieved he has kept his stars despite a day of frantic transfer activity and has allowed midfielder Ed Upson to go out on loan to Stevenage Borough.
With Premier League clubs not allowed to loan or buy now until January the likes of Walters, Owen Garvan and Pablo Counago are safely ensconced at Portman Road until 2009.
