IPSWICH Town defender Moritz Volz is out of Saturday's FA Cup game at Premier League Chelsea.
The full back, who is on loan from Fulham for the season, has inflammation of the pubic bone and is a recurrence of a problem he's had before.
He went to London for an injection in his groin in the hope that it'll settle down so he can get back into training as soon as possible - hopefully by the beginning of next week.
The German will be resting over the weekend, but with living nearby he will be at Stamford Bridge.
“The injection was pretty painful to say the least - not really the kind of present I was looking for on my birthday,” said Volz.
“I'll be missing the Chelsea game unfortunately, and I'm obviously gutted about that. I was already disappointed to have missed out on the win over Palace at the weekend.”
