IT WILL be a race against time to try and get Jon Walters fit for Sunday's Coca-Cola Championship derby against Norwich City at Carrow Road.
And Owen Garvan has gone down with full-blown flu and is not yet back in training.
Town are treating Walters for pain in his thigh and hamstring and he failed a fitness test before last weekend's home league draw against Sheffield United.
The problem is believed to stem from his back, with Town physio Matt Byard saying: “Jon has complained of soreness in two or three areas.
“We're hoping now that the problem will settle down over the next few days.”

Ipswich expect Walters, who signed an improved contract which keeps him at Portman Road until 2012 in October, to return to light training later this week.
Garvan, who missed the Blades visit when his virus first struck, is expected to be back training in time to be considered for the trip to Norfolk.
