Walters suffers injury blow
Ipswich Town suffered a double blow at Southampton today as they bowed out of the FA Cup and also lost their skipper Jon Walters to injury.
Front runner Walters did not appear for the second half of Town's 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Saints.
Pablo Counago did halve the deficit in the last minute of normal time, but Town could not fashion an equaliser during five minutes of injury time.
Manager Roy Keane said; “Jon Walters felt his hamstring in the first half and he could miss a few games.
I wasn't unhappy with the performance though we could have done better. Perhaps we became a little ragged in the second half and in the end it was too little too late”
