BOUYED from pledging his future to Town, Jon Walters today said he believed the Blues must average two points a game for the remaining 19 matches to make the play-offs.
After Saturday's 1-1 draw with Stoke City at Portman Road, Town have now amassed 40 points in 27 games.
However, Walters, said: “Thirty eight points from our remaining 19 games will see us reach 78.
“We have set ourselves a goal of ten points every five games, and this will give us what we want.
“This means we need to start collecting points on our travels starting with Blackpool on Saturday. We are getting stronger.”
On Saturday Walter's committed himself to Ipswich until 2011 by signing a one-year contract extension.
The Tractor Boys 1-1 draw with Stoke saw Town drop out of the top six.
