Warnock wants Bullard at QPR

QPR boss Neil Warnock has admitted he hopes to sign Jimmy Bullard to his newly-promoted side this summer.

Warnock said he hopes to bring in five or six new players to bolster the Premier League new boys.

He told Sky Sports News: “I have spoken to three or four personally, but we haven’t been able to afford either the transfer fees or the wages.

“We are down the line with a couple. Jimmy Bullard is one of a number we are talking about.”

Bullard, who starred for Ipswich on loan last season, is back training at Hull City.
