THE Football League has confirmed the Coca-Cola Championship play-off final will be played at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 24.
There was a suggestion it would follow the League Two and League One finals and be played on Bank Holiday Monday, May 26, as used to be the case.
The dates of the semi-finals will not be decided until the participants are known.
A Football League spokesman said the first legs were likely to be played on the weekend of May 10 and 11 and the second legs the following week.
