Ipswich Town lost 3-0 at Nottingham Forest this afternoon, but who was your Town man-of-the-match? Vote in our online poll.

Britt Assombalonga’s brace helped Forest ease to a convincing win this afternoon as they successfully avoided relegation into League One.

On a tense final day in the Championship, Forest were in the bottom three for the majority of the first half, but never looked back after Assombalonga smashed home a 43rd-minute penalty.

Town had chances in the first half, Grant Ward forcing a save from Jordan Smith, while Dominic Samuel hit the bar and Christophe Berra narrowly headed wide.

But The Reds were well worthy of their win, with an assured performance in the second half that saw them score further goals from Chris Cohen and Assombalonga, sparking celebrations at the final whistle.
