EX-IPSWICH Town star Connor Wickham will make his return to the region next week after being named in Stuart Pearce’s England Under-21 squad for the forthcoming European Championship qualification double-header against Iceland and Belgium.
Wickham, who scored his first Premier League goal for new club Sunderland last weekend, is likely to start for the under-21’s in the game against Iceland, which will be held at Colchester United’s Weston Homes Community Stadium on November 10.
The side then travel to Mons, in Belgium, for the second game on November 14.
