WOEFUL defending at set plays was once again Ipswich Town's undoing as they stretched their run of games without an away win to 16.
First half free kicks from virtually the same place by City skipper Stephen Clemence were finished by Richard Stearman and Patrick Kisnorbo as the Foxes gained revenge on a 3-1 loss at Portman Road 24 days earlier.
A supporters coach was involved in a shunt with three other cars on the outskirts of Cambridge on the A14 as they made their way to the Walkers' Stadium but that was nothing compared to what they witnessed at Leicester.
Town had few clear cut chances throughout although they looked a little more threatening in the second half.
Referee Keith Hill was forced off after being hit by the ball and five minutes was added on in the second half but still Town could not find away through.
