YORK City have told Jai Reason they won't be taking him on loan after failing to impress in a trial match against Grimsby.
The Blues reserve team midfielder returns to Portman Road after City boss Richard Walker said he didn't have the strength to handle the Blue Square Premier League.
He said: “Jai was very strong technically, but the Blue Square Premier might be a bit strong for him.”
