Ipswich Witches will begin their 2018 season with the return of a Good Friday double header.
The Foxhall Heath side entertain Lakeside over the Easter break, with fans heading down the A12 for the return - both in the League Cup - later that night.
It’s a much truncated fixture list this season with just 10 Championship fixtures, two League Cup meetings and a knock-out cup clash, plus the 16-Lapper the only fixtures penned in.
Success in all competitions will see the fixtures mount however, something the capable Witches of 2018 should aspire to.
The Suffolk side complete their League Cup campaign with more local clashes with Peterborough in April before starting the Championship campaign at Foxhall on April 26 against Newcastle.
May begins with that Knockout Cup clashes with Lakeside before the league action begins to gather pace.
There are home comforts in June as the Witches stay at Foxhall for meetings against Sheffield and Edinburgh but the travelling begins in July with long trips to Edinburgh, Redcar and Workington.
It’s a busy August as the race for the play-offs draws to its conclusion with eight confirmed fixtures leading into what will hopefully be a semi-final and final filled September!
The famous 16 Lap Classic also makes a return in 2018 to bring the season to a close.
