IPSWICH Witches kept up their chances of finishing in the top-six and thus earning a Premier League play-off place with a 50-43 win, and a crucial four points, at Rye House on Saturday night.

After going down 4-2 in the first heat, the Witches fought back and were leading 41-25 by heat 12, before being pegged back slightly.

Every Witches rider performed, Leigh Lanham and Morten Risager leading the way with paid 11, while guest rider, Mildenhall Fen Tigers’ Stefan Nielsen scored an impressive paid 8.
