Bury Town have signed two players from higher leagues, ahead of the new Isthmian North season.
The Blues boss has brought in Leiston midfielder Leon Ottley-Gooch and Needham Market defender Ollie Fenn, both players having finished the season at Ram Meadow on-loan.
Neil O’Sullivan, Bradley Barber, Ollie Hughes, Noel Aitkens, Ryan Jolland, Luke Read, Joe White, Josh Mayhew and Joe Yaxley, meanwhile, have agreed new deals at the club, while Ollie Canfer, who missed a large chunk of last season through injury, will also return.
“We have secured the vast majority of last season’s squad which was important as we didn’t want to make wholesale changes,” said Chenery.
“I am still in discussion with Kyran Clements as he is another player we would like to retain, but he has a year left on his contract with AFC Sudbury so we will see how the discussions progress over the next couple of weeks.”
