NEEDHAM Market booked their place in the final of the LB Group Suffolk Premier Cup thanks to a 2-0 win against Kirkley & Pakefield last night.
Needham took the lead in their semi-final tie at Walmer Road through an own goal by Lewis Flowers, whose header sailed into his own net in the 25th minute.
Striker Rhys Henry volleyed home the second goal after 50 minutes and Needham twice more struck the woodwork as they threatened to add to their tally, before Kirkley’s Jack Newrick struck a post in the closing minutes
Needham, who will be playing in their fourth consecutive final, will face Bury Town, 3-0 victors over Lowestoft Town on Tuesday night, at Portman Road on a date to be arranged.
