IPSWICH-based motorcycle road-racer Kieran Murphy and MSS Discovery Kawasaki have mutually agreed to go their separate ways.
The 27-year-old had originally renewed his contract with the Thorpe-le-Soken-based race team in October, which would have seen him continue his assault on the 600cc British Supersport Championship.
However, as one door has closed, another has opened, and countless local and national businesses have dug deep to help Murphy set up his own team to compete in the 2007 British Superstock Championship.
Racing for Goldstar Suzuki, Murphy will ride the all-new 1000cc Suzuki GSXR1000, which has been supplied to him by world-renowned Suzuki performance tuning firm, Cresent Suzuki.
Murphy said: “After parting with MSS Discovery Kawasaki two weeks ago I was at a loose end, but with the help of Goldstar Transport, Cresent Suzuki and Truckcraft, among others, I now have a fantastic package for the coming season.”
