Colchester United are set to make just one change, an enforced one, for tomorrow night’s League Two test at Swindon.
Ryan Inniss, the regular sweeper in a three-man back-line, will miss out with a shoulder injury, so boss John McGreal must decide whether to find a like-for-like replacement, or switch formations. He has been mulling over it this week.
Both Cameron James and Cole Kpekawa are options in a three-man defence, but both are woefully short of match fitness, so McGreal will be reluctant to play either of these two centre-halves.

He could change to four-at-the-back, employing Ryan Jackson and Kane Vincent-Young as full-backs, and bringing in midfielder Sean Murray to play against his former club.
However, it is more likely that McGreal will stick with his tried-and-tested three-man defence, by playing Jackson alongside Tom Eastman and Frankie Kent in the heart of defence, and recalling Kyel Reid at left wing-back.
