TWO goals in the final seven minutes saw Lowestoft Town lose in the FA Vase final at Wembley this afternoon.

The Trawler boys led for 1-0 for the majority of the match thanks to an own goal by Kirkham & Wesham's Phil Thompson after just 11 minutes.

It looked as though Lowestoft would be the first Suffolk side to win the trophy as they held the lead until the 83rd minute when substitute Matt Walwyn equalised.

With the game looking as though it would be going into extra time Walwyn scored again in the 94th minute to deny the Ridgeons League side.
