Rowhedge U11 2, Cornard Dynamos Reds U11 4
After a nervy opening, Dynamos took the lead when Cody Ennis-Hadley lobbed Rowhedge's keeper from the corner of the box. Dynamos doubled their lead ten minutes later when Lewis Howard played a smart defence-splitting ball for Jack Housden to run on to and slot confidently home. Ennis-Hadley scored his second early in the second half following up his own shot after the Rowhedge keeper fumbled. Rowhedge pulled one back in a rare attack before Housden netted his second, his cross/shot deflecting off a Rowhedge defender. Dynamo's spine, centre-backs Howard and Jack Martin-Halls with midfielder Callum Smith were all in contention for man-of the-match, as was Frankie Edwards, who was injured in a brave 50/50 with Rowhedge's keeper. However, man-of-the-match went to Ennis-Hadley who was unlucky not to get his hat-trick before Rowhedge made it 4-2 from the spot with the last kick of the game.
