ALAN Lee has been cleared to resume training next week in time for Ipswich Town home game against Leeds on a newly-laid pitch.
The Irish international, who misses the trip to his old club Cardiff City on Saturday due to a one-match ban, has been struggling with a groin strain and would have been a doubt anyhow.
But a scan has revealed no tear to the area and even though there is a build up of fluid, it is not deemed troublesome and he will be fit to train as usual next week.
The Blues are laying a new surface brought in especially from Holland in time for the match against Leeds United.
Meanwhile, Jaime Peters has pulled out of the Canada Under-20 squad that was due to play in Florida, to focus on getting his first team place back at Ipswich.
