Former Ipswich Town striker Leon Best is reportedly training with League One club Charlton Athletic.
The 31-year-old made just six starts and six substitute appearances for the Blues last season after joining as a free agent and ended up being released following a fall-out with manager Mick McCarthy.
His last competitive appearance was in the 1-0 defeat at Lincoln City in an FA Cup third round replay back on January 17.
Meanwhile, former Blues winger Cameron Stewart – another player who flopped at Portman Road – is reportedly set to sign for League One club Oldham Athletic.
The former Manchester United youngster, now 26, has been a free agent ever since being released by Town in August 2016.
He made just two substitute appearances, both in the FA Cup, during three seasons at Portman Road.
