Letchworth 4 Ipswich II 1

Ipswich II slipped into the bottom spot following this defeat to Letchworth.

Despite minimal pitch time for a warm up, Ipswich started strongly and played the first ten minutes in Letchworth's half but they backed off a bit and let Letchworth bring the game to them.

Letchworth scored but Ipswich attacked again and did it in style, driving down the right, passing across to Beth Golding, she nipped into the D, pulled it round on to the reverse stick and unleashed a beautiful reverse stick strike into the back of the net.

Back on level pegging, and having proven that Ipswich can actually score a goal, Ipswich then let Letchworth attack again.

Ipswich started the second half with a bit more drive but, despite captain Claire Gould pulling off a few cracking saves, Letchworth still scored twice more.
