Lewis McGugan’s rocket free-kick against Ipswich Town in 2010 has been voted as Nottingham Forest’s greatest ever home goal.
The midfielder, now at Sheffield Wednesday, fired home a rocket of a shot from more than 30 yards in Forest’s 2-0 win, as he beat the late Marton Fulop.
The goal was voted as the best ever at the City Ground during the club’s 150th Anniversary Gala, on a night where former Ipswich Town manager Roy Keane was voted into the greatest ever Nottingham Forest side.
