LINUS Sundstrom is set to face a spell on the sidelines after breaking a scaphoid whilst racing in Poland on Monday.
The Panthers’ Swedish star was competing in the Czestochowa v Gorzow Extraleague match and has today been for an x-ray which confirmed the break.
Co-promoter Trevor Swales said: “I’ve spoken to Linus this morning and he is expected to be out of action for at least 2-3 weeks.
“It is a blow of course, but we’ll operate rider-replacement at home against Belle Vue on Thursday which does at least mean everyone including Kenneth (Bjerre) can take an additional ride.”
