FORMER Colchester United striker Kevin Lisbie is still searching for a new club.

Lisbie’s three-year deal at Ipswich Town expired over the summer, since when Lisbie has been a free agent.

The 33-year-old front-runner, who started his career at Charlton Athletic in the mid-1990s, enjoyed a couple of spells at Colchester in 2007-08 and 2009-10.

Lisbie top scored with 17 goals during the U’s second season in the Championship, before moving on to Ipswich for a �600,000 fee in the summer of 2008.

But he only managed four league goals during his time at Portman Road, spending a season on loan with the U’s (13 goals in 2009-10) after falling out with then-Town manager Roy Keane.

Lisbie spent last season on loan at Championship club Millwall and has recently been linked with another of his old clubs, Gillingham, despite initial reports that he was not interested in a drop down to League Two.
