Long-serving official dies

LONG-SERVING Essex & Suffolk Border League fixtures secretary Graham Chell has died.Chell, who was 83, passed away on Tuesday.He had been a long servant to football as a player and administrator in the Eastern Counties.

LONG-SERVING Essex & Suffolk Border League fixtures secretary Graham Chell has died.

Chell, who was 83, passed away on Tuesday.

He had been a long servant to football as a player and administrator in the Eastern Counties. As a mark of respect all Border League clubs have been requested to wear black armbands and hold a minute's silence before their matches on Saturday.
